Troubleshooting

No log files are displayed

Make sure your Craft storage/logs directory exists and contains log files. Craft generates log files automatically, but they may not exist on a fresh install until activity occurs.

I can't see the Freelog section in the sidebar

Check that you have the Access Freelog permission assigned to your user group, or that you are logged in as an admin. See the Permissions page for details.

Log entries aren't filtering correctly

Freelog parses standard Monolog/PSR-3 formatted log entries. If your log files use a custom format, the level filter may not recognize all entries. The search feature will still work for keyword matching.

Large log files are slow to load

Very large log files may take a moment to parse. Consider clearing old log files periodically using the Clear button, or configure log rotation in your server environment.
